While Mastercard is struggling VISA really had a blast taking over companies in recent months. They aquired Tink for Open Banking, the British startup Currency Cloud and now CryptoPunk - a leader in the NFT space - while still dominating the traditional credit card space. They seem to have a clear agenda to lead the digital transformation in finance making use of their deep pockets.
